The objective of ATL Marathon 2022
The Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) Marathon is a national-level innovation challenge, where schools identify community problems of their choice and develop innovative solutions as working prototypes.
The marathon is based on the document ‘Strategy for New India @ 75’ by NITI Aayog. This National Strategy Document for New India is a detailed description of forty-one important areas of national importance to achieve the objectives of New India by 2022-23.
Timeline of Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) Marathon 2022
The last date to submit entries for the ATL Marathon 2022 is 10th April 2022. Interested candidates submit their entries before 10th April 2022. The entries submission link is given below.
The theme of ATL Marathon 2022 Challenge
There is a total of four themes of Atal Tinkering Lab Marathon 2022:
- Healthcare and Nutrition
- Education
- Energy and Transportation
- Social Inclusion
Training Video to Assist in ATL Innovation
AIM conducts live masterclass sessions on various topics to help students innovate and participate in the ATL Marathon.
Some Important topics covered are Design Thinking, Python Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Game Development, 3D Modeling, Hardware Prototyping.
Participation Guidelines for ATL Marathon 2022
A team of students (from ATL and non-ATL schools) can submit their entries to the ATL Marathon. Keep your ATL UID handy while applying. Please enter the correct ATL UID to proceed.
The final entry of the ATL innovation will be in the form of a research document and video file (both mandatory). ATL in charge, school teachers, mentors, alumni, and external advisors from the local ATL ecosystem can support participating student teams.
Each team will consist of a maximum of three students (classes 6th to 12th) and one ATL in-charge or school teacher (must be an employee of the ATL school). We encourage ATL schools to include other school and/or community students within the team structure as well. Please note, individual member entry is not allowed in this program. Also if the team size exceeds the three-member limit, the entry or submission will be immediately disqualified.
How to Participate in ATL Marathon 2022 Challenge
Step I: Go to the official website of MyGov or click this Participation Link to submit your Entries.
Step II: After clicking the above link, the MyGov homepage will open.
Step III: Click the “Submit Your Idea” link given on the homepage of MyGov’s Website.
Step IV: Enter all the details asked in the form and submit their entries.
Step V: Click on the “Submit” button.
