Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) releases a new notification about Inviting opinion and feedback on the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion Policy (NIEPP).

The National Policy on Education 2020 has a great focus on innovation as a tool to reform the educational system. The need for quality improvement in curriculum and the desire to equip students with 21st-century competency skills has brought innovation to the core of the educational ecosystem.

Therefore, a school culture that supports innovation should be widely developed and encouraged. Pedagogical practices should be designed to teach children to think in ways that lead to innovation. It should be the goal of every school to create a creative approach to learning rather than taking tests.

In view of this, CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) in association with the Innovation Cell of the Ministry of Education has developed guidelines for promoting innovation and entrepreneurship skills in students titled National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion Policy (NIEPP) for Schools.
