Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) releases a new circular about Online Fraud Awareness Program 2022 in association with HDFC Bank is held on 5 January 2022.

About Online Fraud Awareness Program 2022

Online Fraud Awareness Programme in association with HDFC Bank: International Fraud Awareness Week, an annual event organized by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), took place between 15 November and 21 November 2021 with the goal of raising awareness of financial fraud.

Every year, HDFC Bank participates in and celebrates the occasion. As part of this year’s fraud awareness plan, the program will be conducted across India through CBSE’s Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and affiliated schools. The online awareness/interactive session will last for 45-60 minutes and will include discussion, presentation, and interaction, during which new modes of operation and preventive measures will be fully covered. Fraud awareness training will be given in the form of a PowerPoint presentation.

This will include the digital transformation of financial systems, case studies and videos, and information on different types of cyber threats and practices. These online sessions will also help the participants to learn about various financial frauds and security tips that will help them in protecting themselves from frauds.

Having knowledge of safe banking practices is very important in today’s times, as there are many new avenues to conduct financial transactions and hence frauds can also happen. The objective of the online fraud awareness program will be to help the participants to understand good banking/financial practices with engaging content. The Principals of all the schools affiliated with CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) should participate in the above-mentioned online fraud awareness program and encourage their teachers to participate in the subsequent programs to be organized by their respective COEs.
